Pizza Pizza launches beer service in Winnipeg and Hamilton, Ont.

Toronto – Pizza Pizza locations in Hamilton, Ont., and Winnipeg are now serving beer and the company plans to license locations to serve beer across Canada in 2021.

Starting June 7, customers in Winnipeg and Hamilton, Ont., have been able to purchase beer on site, for takeout or for delivery with any food purchase. To mark the launch, an exclusive limited edition large pizza box featuring six pop-out drink coasters are now available in these cities.

In Western Canada, Pizza 73 will also be rolling out beer sales throughout the province of Alberta this summer.

“We know some of our customers enjoy beer with their pizza or wings, they’ve told us this many times over the years. So, we thought, we should sell beer and make it available for delivery,” said Adrian Fuoco, vice-president of marketing at Pizza Pizza. “Add in a limited edition beer coaster pizza box and it will be a great summer for our customers.”
